In addition to training in numerous methods of Scoliosis Specific Exercise (PSSE), our team have also trained in multiple exercise programs for scoliosis including Scolio-Pilates®, APPI Pilates for Scoliosis, Dance, and Strength Training for Scoliosis. Scolio-Pilates® embraces the philosophy of the Schroth method of exercise.

HOW IT WORKS
Initial Consult
The primary key to our initial visit is to better understand your Scoliosis and classify your curve, and commence learning the principles of the exercises.

One on One training
Scolio-Pilates® exercises works to de-rotate and elongate your spine. The primary principle is the use of breath to open and elongate.
It is recommended to complete a number of one-on-one sessions learning how to integrate your specific techniques of corrective positioning, elongation and corrective breathing into Mat and Equipment Pilates using Swedish Wall Ladder, Reformer, Cadillac, Barrel and wall pulley systems and/or into Gym with functional movements and strength training before moving into a group.

Can't attend our clinic? No problem, we offer one on one online sessions.
